Lyawere Company Limited does not solicit anything of value from any person or organization with whom the company has a current or potential business relationship. The Company does not accept any item of value from any party in exchange for or in connection with a business transaction between the Company and that other party.
At Lyawere, we treat each other with respect and do not tolerate harassment of any sort, including sexual harassment. It is the policy of Lyawere that any harassment, including acts creating a hostile work environment, shall not be tolerated. Lyawere also will not tolerate any such harassment of our employees by our clients or vendors.
Lyawere Company Limited is committed to maintaining the highest level of ethical standards in the conduct of its business affairs. We prohibit and have a zero-tolerance policy towards fraud, bribery, and corruption of any kind. We will comply with all laws relevant to countering fraud, bribery, and corruption in all jurisdictions in which we operate, and we require all personnel and business partners to comply with these laws.
We, Lyawere Company Limited, place importance on competitive tendering taking place on a basis that is free, fair, competitive, and not open to abuse. We are pleased to confirm that we will not offer or facilitate, directly or indirectly, any improper inducement or reward to any public officer, their relations, or business associates, in connection with quotations, or in the subsequent performance of the contract if it is successful.
We have an Anti-Bribery Policy/ Code of Conduct and a Compliance Program which includes all reasonable steps necessary to assure that the no bribery commitment given in this statement will be complied with by our management and employees as well as by all third parties working with us on the public sector projects or contract including agents, consultants, consortium partners, subcontractors and service providers.
Human Rights Policy
We, at Lyawere, respect the human rights of all individuals impacted by our operations, including employees, contractors and external stakeholders. Wherever we operate, we seek to avoid causing or contributing to human rights violations. We consider “human rights” to be all internationally recognized human rights in the International Bill of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Occupational Health and Safety Policy
At Lyawere, we believe in maintaining safe and healthy working conditions and meeting
all applicable regulatory requirements. We establish and maintain Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management systems to mitigate safety and health risks. We also promote a safety culture that encourages people to proactively manage health and safety risks through education, instruction, information and supervision. A high standard in Workplace Safety and Health is achieved with the cooperation and active participation of all Lyawere Company Limited employees, managers, and contractors.
